Let me tell you my own story. My name is Mazen, I am an Arabic lecturer and learnt English in Syria, which I always considered to be at a good standard . However, when I arrived in London, there was a huge difference between what I learnt in the classroom and what was spoken on the street. 

Imagine spending 4 years at university studying a language and finally visiting the native speaking country only for people to laugh when you spoke. This happened to a friend of mine, can you imagine how she felt?

Language is about socialising and interacting with others, not about learning from a textbook. At the EBritish Institute, English learners can have real interactions with native speakers, all easily conducted via a mobile device.  This allows our students to go beyond the basics of the English language by interacting with native speakers to truly understand the culture, body language and different accents which are crucial parts of how natives speak
